What Causes Flank Pain After Consuming Alcohol?

Hi. Could u tell me, umm well on december 31st and into january 1st (new years) i consumed quite a bit of alcohol, both hard and light, and cant remember what all happened, and anyway on january 3, 4, and now the 5th i am experiencing sorfof a stabbing pain in my lower back almost as if it is my kidneys maybe, idk could it be my kidneys under stress trying to filter out all of the alcohol? idk
