What Causes Flank Pain And Menstrual Period Like Cramps?

I have been having right side flank pain and menstrual like cramps for a week. I was treated for bacterial vaginosis two weeks ago and a UTI, could this be related? No fever or chills, just the pain and cramping, and my period isn't due for another week.
