What Causes Flashes Of Light In Vision After Taking Epidural Injection?

I had a cervical steroid epidural injection two days ago. Approximately, five hours after the injection I started seeing flashing light in the peripheral vision of my right eye. I thought a migraine was starting but it didn t but the light is still in my eye. Contacted my doctor but didn t get a response. My right eye and sinus area is hurting.
