What Causes Floaters At The Corner Of Eye Along With Dizziness?

Today in class, I was sitting there and I noticed out of the corner of my right eye that there were little black dots floating around. I turned my head to see if that's what I was actually seeing and it was. They were moving around and it lasted for about 10 seconds. I got mono in October so I'm always out of it these days. I tend to be dizzy frequently and also always tired. What is the cause of these tiny black dots? Today was the first day that I have saw them.
