What Causes Flu Like Symptoms When Having A PSA Level Of 4.4?

Hello ..I have psa of 4.4 Iam male age 63, have had smelly urin,,had two recent bouts of flu like illneses fever chills ect every since have noticed urin to be darker and smelly.Can you recommend what steps I should follow, I went to primary doctor were blood work was done and he sent me to urologist who I am not happy with, because I was not given enough time with to explain my conditions, he wants me to go have ct scan and then prostste bioppsy thru anus, I am not comfortable doing going thru this procedure. please advise
