What Causes Fluid Filled Stomach And Weakness In Legs While On Prednisone?

Hi i took prednisone for about 7 months with doses ranging from 60-80 mg daily, im finally starting to taper off. How long will it take for the cushing syndrome symptoms to dissapear like the large fluid filled stomach and weak arm/leg muscles? i can barely shoot a basketball my arms are extremely thin
