What Causes Fluid In Cervical Canal?

I have been having Lower abdominal pain, lower and mid back pain, and was passing half dollar blood clots during recent cycle. I was sent for ultra sound thinking maybe cyst or kidney zone but all it shows was fluid in my cervix canal. What could it be caused from?? Have appt with Gyn soon but worried.
