What Causes Fluttering On The Upper Quadrant?

I have a *funny flutter* on the higher quadrant on my right side about 3 fingers below the breast. It has the feeling of when I was pregnant many years ago. I am a 46 active female who has had two children - and know for certain that I am not pregnant. The fluttering is not painful just noticable and annoying. Is this something to be concerned about?
