What Causes Foul Odour In Between The Thigh And Scrotum?

Between my thigh and scrotum I ha e noticed a slimy or sweaty foul smelling build up and I'm wonder what is causing it or if there is something really wrong where I need to see a doctor. It's kind of embarrassing to smell if I'm just sitting around the house.
