What Causes Foul Smell And Pain In Buttocks After Hair Removal?

I am 18 and generally quite a hairy person, about a year ago i shaved my bum hair because i was fed up with it and ever since i have had a hair follicle which is located on the inside of my bum cheek.... from time to time it gets a bit painful when sitting down but the worst part is that it brings off a horrible smell which is not exactly discreet.What can i do?
