What Causes Foul Smelling Urine When Not Having UTI?

My urine smells bad, like garbage! I have no symptoms of UTI. I have history of UTI , but have not had one in over 5 years. I drink plenty of water and only drink black tea as an alternative. I do not take supplements. It is horrible and my husband can smell it minutes after I have flushed. It s horrific.
