What Causes Foul Vaginal Discharge Post Depo Shot?

I just had my first Depo shot February 12, now 6 days later I have a foul discharge. I never had this problem before. First day it was a really bad stinch(like baby poop), now day 2 its smells more like urine from medication. My mother was a diabetic & took a lot of meds so I know the oder that came from her. I have no burning or itching problems. Can the Depo shot cause these foul oders. So embarrassed!
