What Causes Foul Vaginal Smell?

I ve recently noticed a bad smell coming from my vagina, it almost reminds me of a skunk smell. I wash regularly and this is the first I ve noticed the smell. I did just recover from a sever asthma attack that lasted six days.. Could it that my body is imbalanced?
