What Causes Frequent And Difficulty In Urination Of A Child?

My 6 year old daughter started complaining today about feeling like she has had to pee frequently, but only a few drops come out. She said it hurts to pee. I noticed it does have a strong smell. She just recently got over a stomach virus, so I'm not sure if the two are related. No other history of bladder or kidney problems. I don't know if this is urgent enough to warrant an urgent care visit or wait until Monday when her pediatrician's office opens....
