What Causes Frequent Clearing Of Throat And Difficulty In Swallowing?

I have chronic clearing of my throat. At times I loose my voice. I have no pain or difficulty swalloing. At least 2 years of this. I feel that on my right side, my lymph (I think that is what I am feeling) is more lumpy. My doctor says it is in normal range and I have no strep. This is uncomfortable everyday. Your opinion thank you. Also some cough with this.
