What Causes Frequent Fever In Spite Of Using NFP?

I was using NFP, we did not have sex until I had 3 high temp, then when my BBT started going down and was laready expecting my period, that was the time, we had intercourse. But after few days, my temperature rose again, it's the 4th day now. Do you think I'm under perimenopausal or pregnant? Thanks
