What Causes Frequent Genital Infection?
Hi Dr,
I am 35 yrs old and had gestational diabetes during my second pregnancy. I also had PCOD earlier for which I used to use Glyciphage 500 mg. Now my blood sugar fasting is coming between 110 to 125-30 sometimes. Earlier the Doctor advised Glyciphage 500 mg twice daily but now I am taking Glyciphage 1gm SR. I have a BMR above 30. I have itching in the genitals all the time with a lot of discharge. Could that be a sign of infection as I keep getting infection in the genitals frequently. I am trying to loose weight through diet and exercise but the weight is going very slowly. The sugar appears to be in normal limits but still keep getting continous infection in the genitals. I am always irritated, depressed and tired. Please help.
