What Causes Frequent Night Sweats And Sore Throat?

I have recurring night sweats. A few nights in a row, recurring every few months. I'm 34, female. This time around I also have a sore throat. I think it is generally a few days before my period. I get drenched two or three times in the night and then shiver with cold.
