What Causes Frequent Nose Bleeds?

i'm 19 and have recently started getting random nose bleeds in the last few weeks. they only ever last for a few seconds and i only bleed from one nostril. I eat healthily and am very active and keep myself fit. please could you give any advice on what could be the problem.
