What Causes Frequent Scabbing And Peeling Of A Mole On My Back?

I have a mole on my back which keeps scabbing and peeling. My partner looked at it and said it was soft and looked like a blood blister, it then scabbed over and peeled. It has now scabbed again do you think it s anything to worry about?
