What Causes Frequent Urination And Burning Sensation During Testosterone Therapy For Sex Change?
Hello Sir,I'm a 27 year old female to male transman. (I'm undergoing a sex change surgery) I've only completed my top surgery (mastectomy) & 2 years on theraphy. I've experienced frequent urination problems since a year now. Lately it got worse since last 2-3 months & turned into nocturia having to wakeup and pee several times at night (7-8 times) & falling asleep late by early morning allmost everyday. I haven't experienced any burning sensation down there. But I've to apply pressure and wait for the urine to pass at times (sometimes its a normal flow, other times its only a few drops). I haven't had any bottom surgeries yet so so I still have a female anatomy which has grown slightly on testosterone theraphy (Clitoral enlargement). I have consulted a gynocologist in this matter and got my routine and infection culture done with no microbacterial growth. I also got done a whole abdomen Ultrasound but everything appears to be normal in the reports. My gyno had earlier prescribed me antibiotics but nothing worked. Lastly,he asked me to consult a urologist. I'm not a regular smoker or drinker & have a normal diet.I try to avoid spicy foods as much as possible. I also don't consume any other medicines other than my regular hormone theraphy. I only use a inhaler rarely for mild respiratory problems.I'd consulted my endocrinologist in this matter but he also couldn't help me out. I would like to request you to kindly give me some advice on this context as I'm clueless. My normal sleep patterns have messed up and I cannot live a normal lifestyle having to wake up during night time.
