What Causes Frequent Urination During Nights Despite Taking Enablex?

my husband has been on Enablex for severl yrs. and still has a problem with his bladder -up several times a nite..he does not empty his bladder per dr. several yrs ago and was advised that enblex is the only drug available for him was enablex..can you offer some insight?
