What Causes Frequent Urination With Strong Odor?

I had problems with frequent urination, strong odor and my bladder pulsing in between urinating. I had testing find at my family fictor, they found nothing. I quit taking Ibuprofen and quit drinking coffee and it stopped. It has suddenly started back up, I m taking AZO daily to numb my bladder and the odor is much stronger... Like ammonia. Should I try something at home or should I go straight to a doctor ? What could this be ?
