What Causes Fullness And Tenderness In The Breast While Feeding?

Hi I am currently breastfeeding and this morning my breast was full and my toddler was laying next to me and rolled onto my breast. I have expressed from that breast since but it is very very tender, is this just bruised or could it have caused damage? My breast doesn't feel as full??
