What Causes Grayish Nipple Discharge?

i have a grayish nipple discharge,my obgyn ordered diagnostic mammogram and ct scan nothing found,blood work came back normal,i have no pain and discharge is only visible if i express my breast,canyou tell me why i might be having this? im 56 and menopausal
