What Causes Green Fluid From Genitals?

Hi, this morning I woke up and I was very scared. My genitals (I am a woman) was secreting an abnormal fluid. It was very sticky, smelled like sardines, and was slightly clumpy. It was also a slight green color. Could you please help me? I have no insurance, and don't want to go to the doctor unless it is life threatening. Thank you.
