What Causes Grey Discoloration Of Toes And Purple Discoloration Of Toe Nails?

What is it when my toes are pink and toe nails are very soft and seem to be real soft and easily broken. Moreover, my toes look almost a grayish color. My toe nails seem to be turning purple. almost like they are smashed and bruising. They turn purple when this happens.
