What Causes Gum Pain And Tingling Sensation After Having Dentures?

Hello,I had all of my teeth removed years ago and I wear complete dentures. My upper and lower gum on the right side (only) have terrible pain that runs through my gums, and it makes my jaw feel like it s tightening up or tingling. I went to my dentist and had an x ray, which came out fine; my gumsare healthy and gum structure is fine. Could I have nerve damage?
