What Causes Gurgling Sound In Upper Abdomen Near The Ribcage?

I have frequent gurgling in my upper right abdomen near my rib cage. No pain or diarrhea. My stomach also seems to be bloated. I am a 49-year-old female, 5'5 and 137 pounds. I have only had surgery for dermoid cysts in the past. I don't have nausea and otherwise feel fine. I do suffer from constipation due to medication I take for migranes, so take 3 tablets of magnesium citrate a day.
