What Causes Gurgling Sounds In Abdomen Along With Burps?

I ate Chinese food and my esophagus clots o sed up. And my throat closes o sed up. It scared me. I drank some water and it wouldn t go down.gurgling sounds. It lasted 15 minutes or more. I stopped eating as I thought I had reaction to msg. I am home now sipping warm broth.each sip results in small burp. What do you think this is?
