What Causes Had Tissue Inside The Breast?

I have a hard ball inside the tissue of my right breast, it isn't raised above the skin at all. I can't move it around if I try and it is painful if pushed on. It has been there for about one month. Also, on my left breast I noticed a blackhead-like spot, that bled when I picked at it.
Are these related or just a coincidence?
