What Causes Hair Loss When Taking Testosterone Shots?

I am a woman taking tosterone shots. x1 per month. I have had an incredible amount of hairloss on my temples and the backside. Will it come back if I quit the shots? Can I continue the shots and have something that will counteract the DHT? or whatever that makes our hair loss? What do you suggest? It has greatly improved my sex life as I am 60 and have been menopausal forever. I Am happy and so is my husband. The hairloss is making me despressed. what do I do?
