What Causes Hands And Feet Itching, Mottling With Redness?

My daughter is 20 and in college. She called me to complain that her hands and feet have been getting red, itchy, and mottled looking on and off for the past few days. She has had fifths disease in the past and says it is not like that at all. any ideas?
