What Causes Hands To Turn Purple With Orange Patches On Them On Cold Days?

Hello Doctors. Im just wondering if you can help here: In the winter, or indeed any other cold day, my hands go purple and i often get orange patches on them (back of hand, not fingers), and i also get purple lips. ive read about raynaud's phenomenon on WWW.WWWW.WW but i dont think its that as the pictures ive seen dont match my symptoms. This has happened all my life as far as i can remember. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
