What Causes Hard Bump Under The Skin After Cut From Rusty Metal?

i got a small cut on my hand from a piece of rusty metal. It healed up well didn't get infected at all and the skin is fine now. There is now a hard bump under the skin where i was cut that is sore and seems to be getting worse. What is this and should i do anything about it?
