What Causes Hard Lump On Left Side Of Rib Cage?

There is a hard lump on left side below rib cage. I have 103.5 spikes in temperature which I can get down as low as 98.6 after sweating when Aleve breaks the temperature. I have been going this for 21 days now and have lost 20 lbs, sleeping most of the day since it started. I do not have insurance and have never had a lab test. Could this be related to the Pancreas? Is there anything I can do to avoid emergency or could this be something other than the Pancreas? I am using my mother's computer and giving you her email address.
