What Causes Hard Lump On Posterior Wall Of Vagina?
Hi. I ve found a hard, bone-like lump on the posterior wall of my vagina. It s about 3 inches upwards. I don t think its my cervix, as it seems in/attached fully to the vaginal-rectal wall. Just wondering if you have any suggestions? I have a GP apt booked, but I m worrying...
As per your description, it seems like prolapsed vagina or urinary bladder (we call it varicocele). You need to get physically examined by a gynecologist, and run gynecological ultrasound to check it out.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
