What Causes Hard Veins In Arm?

Hi, i had a blood test from my the vein in the crease of my arm around 2 months ago and was left with a hard lump in it, but now the lump has gone and the vein feels hard to touch like a chord, it doesn t hurt and i m not showing any other symptoms, could you tell me what it might be?
