What Causes Headache After Being Hit On Head?

I hit my head on the corner of a tail gate a few days ago I have a headake and a bump it hurt bad but after I had sore throt for a little wile and had a tast I my mouth kind of like blood or something for a wile after and a day or two after I still had the headake. I'm. Felling ok but have a bump should I go see my doctor.
