What Causes Headache After Hitting Ulnar Bone?

My daughter hit her right funny bone really hard, and immediately the lights in the room got brighter, and she felt dizzy. Sat down and was ok, and now she has a really bad headache on the left side of her head. I figured it was from the shock of the hit, as far as the brightness and blurred vision, except it was only blurry on the left side. She took an ibuprophen as the headache was so severe, she felt sick. haven t found anything online that would suggest a headache on the opposite side. She has no neck pain, so whiplash is out, she said her elbow is fine. Thoughts?
