What Causes Headache After Stopping 'ecosprin'?

Hi I am 40yrs old male. I had been taking ecosprin 75mg for last 6yrs and now i have stopped it from past 1 month as it causes gastric problem. now i am getting severe headache very frequently which lasts for 2-3 days. not subsiding with panadol as well. is this head ache due to stoppage of ecosprin(asprin)?
