What Causes Headache Along With Itchy Scalp And Swelling Behind Ears?

Hi! i went to the doctor yesterday with the following symtoms: 3 days of: pencil eraser sized lump behind left ear, moderate to severe pain and headaches itchy scalp on entire left side of head swollen area behind ear tightness of left neck, shoulder and back intermittent numbness of outer ear, behind ear and left jaw/cheek occasional tingling in left arm night sweats a foggy brain feeling, like i m having trouble focusing and forget what i m doing in the middle of a task i can t lay on my left side due to the pressure put on the lump no redness or scales or any signs of the skin being irritated all symptoms vary throughout the day and night in severity, but the lump pain is constant and i m to the point where i can t stand for even my glasses to bump into it. at times i can almost ignore it and at times it consumes me with preoccupation. i m on day 4 of these symptoms, waiting for bloodwork results and potential CT scan next week. my doctor seemed stumped beyond confirming there are swollen nodes back there, that s why i thought i d try for an online second opinion or possible suggestions to alleviate the pain, or focus on my work. thanks for any time that may be devoted to this query. i appreciate it. kindly kate
