What Causes Headache And Nightmares With History Of Basal Skull Fracture?

i suffered a basal skull fracture december 2009, and lost my sense of taste and smell. I know have recently been gaining my sense of smell and taste back but also having severe headaches and having awful nightmares when i carnt get back to sleep. Could this be pressures in the brain????
