What Causes Headache And Pulsating Sensation In The Head?

my husband has , after several days of headache developed a pulsing sensation in his head hand and feet, even after the pain was gone. the head ache has returned and the pulsating continues. his cat scan of head was fine and bp is good, what could be the cause??
