What Causes Headache, High Fever, Running Nose And Vomiting?

Hi...my friend - a guy, suddenly started having endless headaches and high fever...he also has running nose and has thrown up a few times...he already had a check up with a doctor just a while ago..he was given medicine and he started taking the medication already, as prescribed by the doctor however his headaches still didn't go away even just a little bit, as well as his fever. The doctor said he has UTI. Is it true or is it something else?
