What Causes Headache With Pain And Pressure Behind Eye And In Nostrils?

I have a headache with pain and pressure behind my eye and in my upper nostrils with a strong fresh blood smells for about 30 minutes or more now. I took a Goodys headache powder with placing a warm cloth on my head there after which felt better than a cold cloth. I slept much longer than normal this am , I Was wondering what be the problem?
