What Causes Headache With Pain In Eye And Temple?

Hello. The other evening I had quite a severe headache which took about a day to clear. since then I have felt some pain in my right eye and the feeling of bruising to my right temple. I have not suffered any sort of impact. Recently I have been experiencing a sharp shooting pain in the right eye which comes on for a few seconds then dissipates.
