What Causes Headaches Accompanied With Nose Bleeds?

My boss has had a slitting headache behind her eyes, almost a migraine thatâ??s come on during the mornings and then the afternoons of the last three days. Each afternoon headache is accompanied with a significant nose bleed that lasts for about 10-15 minutes. Is this just a coincidence and something that will pass or symptoms of something more serious?
