What Causes Headaches And Elevated BP Levels?

my wife has been having sever headaches for the last few weeks and a slew of other syptoms and she just had her blood presure checked at the firedepartment and it was 190 over 100. she has never had blood presure problems in the past but does come from a family line of bp problems. she is 31 years old and there has been no new stress factors in the last few months, but she is overwieigtht. should i take her to the local er?
