What Causes Headaches Behind The Ear Along With Fuzzy Headedness?

I have been getting headaches lately on the back right lower side, about behind mid ear .. I don t get many headaches and this has been going on and off for a week or so. It makes me a little foggy and want to close my eyes. I have allergies and sinus issues and also have had some family health stress going on. Any ideas? Sometimes when I tip my head down it almost feels like a sharp stab but not every time. thanks
